CREATE! Movement Collective grew out of Anne Landry's love for dance and creative movement. Anne, known to her students as “Ms. Annie,” began dancing at the age of three and hasn't stopped since! Trained in classical and contemporary ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, theatre, modern, hip hop, and ballroom, Ms. Annie has taught students ages two to adult in schools, childcare centers, park districts, private studios, and online. Having performed professionally, Annie has deep technical and artistic knowledge. Annie earned a B.A. from Auburn University, a M.A. from Southern Methodist University, and a M.A. in Ed. from The George Washington University. Her graduate research interests included the development of artistry in dancers and the study of dancers in business. Also a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and corrective exercise specialist, Ms. Annie stresses proper placement and alignment in her classes to ensure her students are able to enjoy a safe and healthy dance education and fitness training.

At CREATE! Movement Collective, we believe in holistic education. CMC is a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO). Whether you're three years old in a Storybook Ballet class or seventy years old in a mat pilates class, we believe in educating the whole person. We are able to do this because we have a deep understanding of movement, body mechanics, nutrition, artistic expression, and education.
